OH WAIT!
FLASHBACK!
That was the LAST TIME we were gearing up for a Presidential Primary and the OTHER Corrupt Party was Screwing the Voters!
You remember them? The so-called Democrats?
The ones who had to steal delegates from Senator Hillary Clinton, take the votes away from the citizens of Florida and Michigan and cheat at caucuses just to get their “Candidate of Choice” to ‘win’ the nomination?
Well, lookie here! The DNC’s Mirror Reflections are threatening to do the EXACT SAME THING to THEIR (yet-to-be-announced voted for) CANDIDATE if Florida holds it’s Republican Primary early!
Greta Van Susteren reports on her Blog in an article by her colleague Wes Barrett, the following news that I am sure will once again excite Florida Voters and if carried out, have them flock to the polls by the tens of thousands:
South Carolina state Republican party Chairwoman Karen Floyd wants the Republican National Committee to severely punish the Republican party of Florida for it’s refusal to postpone its scheduled January 31 presidential primary to a later date in compliance with the national parties approved calendar. She has authored a letter to the full GOP suggesting sanctions against the Sunshine State.
Now, what do you make of that?
Oooooo! Here comes that FLASHBACK!
In an article by Michael Falcone of the New York Times, published on August 25, 2007 on MSNBC.com, we were able to read the following explanation of the events leading up to the Florida Debacle and the Disenfranchising of over a million Democratic Primary Voters in 2008.
“The Republican-controlled legislature in the battleground state of Florida went even further this year, passing a bill setting Jan. 29 as the official date for the state’s primary. At today’s meeting, state Democratic party officials asserted that they had tried to fight the move.“We took all provable positive steps in good faith to prevent the legislative effort that caused the earlier primary,” said Karen L. Thurman, the chairwoman of the Florida Democratic Party.
In pleading the state’s case, Ms. Thurman was trying to meet the committee’s threshold for complying with party rules that require evidence that officials mounted a serious effort against the state legislature’s action.
“Florida Democrats did what they could, but in the end we failed to prevent the state of Florida from setting a primary date in violation” of national party rules, Ms. Thurman added. (The state’s Democratic Senator Bill Nelson yesterday vowed to fight any sanctions.)
But most members of the D.N.C.’s Rules and Bylaws Committee seemed unpersuaded by the Florida Democrats’ arguments, expressing reservations about whether they had done enough to stop the bill before it was signed in May by Gov. Charlie Crist, a Republican.
One member of the D.N.C. rules committee, Donna Brazile, said that Florida should not be allowed any “wiggle room” on its primary date.”
And we all KNOW how Donna hates “cheatin’.”
Karen Floyd, Karen Thurman – what’s the difference? Nothing as far as I can see…(except Unlike Karen Thurman Ms. Floyd still has her job – …..FOR NOW)
What Mr. Falcone FAILED TO MENTION was in the same Bill was a provision that would create a “paper trail” for Florida Voters so there would be no chance another “Florida 2000″ Vote Nightmare would happen. If the FEW Dems there were in the Florida Legislature voted AGAINST the Bill, those Wiley Republicans could say to Florida and the Nation that the Democrats didn’t want a paper trail! Nice to have such great Leaders in this State, eh? So Ethical!
But that’s just “Inside Baseball” and I digress…
It seems the Republican National Committee learned a few lessons from the DNC and the Rules and Bylaws Committee.
Simply, how to cheat American Voters, in particular FLORIDA VOTERS out of their votes in order to determine an outcome in advance of the actual Primaries and nomination for their own self-serving motives.
Ms. Susteren’s Blog also reports;
Floyd wants the RNC to takeaway the 2012 Republican National Convention, which is set for Tampa, and send it to another state. The odds of that are slim since tens of millions of dollars in contracts have already been signed and Florida is already risking a predetermined penalty of losing half its nominating delegates for breaking the RNC’s approved calendar.
Now where oh where have we seen THAT before? Oh! I know!
Now just read Ms. Floyds own words; “This system represents a great step forward in bringing some much-needed predictability to the presidential nominating process, and will help us as a Party to avoid a de facto national primary.
Is it just me, or aren’t we as AMERICAN VOTERS supposed to be the ones CHOOSING the Nominee for President in ANY Party? Didn’t we have a Predictable presidential ‘nominating process’ in 2008 when the DNC was in charge? In hindsight, yes. It was “predictable” early on, when Florida’s votes were cut in half, Big Media refused to cover Ms. Clinton, covered up the lying and cheating of Scum-of-the-Earth John Edwards, stole delegates, disrupted caucuses, etc., etc., etc….and we KNEW something was not right with the Process. Now here we are again.
As one who walked the streets of Florida gaining signatures to have ALL of Florida’s Voters COUNTED, traveled to the DNC HQ in Washington to meet with “No-Show” Howard Dean, organized over a dozen events in Florida to have our voices be heard, went to the RBC Meeting in Washington, traveled to Denver to help organize the Pro-Hillary March, I am sincerely stunned to read the content of Ms. Susteren’s Blog.
As Mr. Barrett correctly points out “The Constitution grants power to establish elections in the states — to the states, not political parties.”
But that Pesky Constitution seems to be getting in the way of those in the RNC, despite Ms. Floyd’s claim;
“As conservatives, we believe in the rule of law, and that rules are made to be followed. To that end, I am sure we all appreciate our state Party counterparts in Florida advocating for the RNC rules being obeyed.”
So, Ms. Floyd – like YOUR Mirror Image Donna Brazile, et al, Screw the Rules of the Constitution of the United States, but if the Party Rules are broken, the People Will Pay.
Do I have that right?
When are WE AS AMERICANS GOING TO STOP LETTING THESE TWO CREEP PARTIES DECIDE WHO WILL RUN THE COUNTRY?
As every day goes by we are seeing with little exception they are all ruled by the same masters, the same money and the same ideology.
More for Me and Less for Thee.
Stand Up Florida! Stand Up America and say NO to the Parties calling the shots, say NO to the Caucuses and say NO DEAL to Disenfranchising Voters ONE MORE TIME so the Delegates and the Party Elders can have their nice rooms, nice perks and nice, compliant and able-to-be-manipulated Sock Puppet in The White House.
I have only reprinted a small portion of the story and Ms. Floyd’s letter here and I encourage you to read it now and read it CAREFULLY. Ms. Floyd also states that the RNC will no longer have a “Winner Take All” Delegate Process, but will now employ the convoluted and disturbing delegate count process that was so easily turned upside down by the Obama for America Campaign.
It’s so nice to learn that the RNC has learned the very best of the DNC’s despicable behavior and turned that old adage of “Cheaters Never Win” on it’s head.
